Density distribution characteristics of the explosively formed reactive material jet

Abstract The density evolution behaviour and distribution characteristics of the explosively formed reactive material jet were studied based on SPH algorithm. Numerical simulations show that has obvious expansion phenomenon under shaped charge effect. Especially, divergence head are obvious. In general, deficit occurs in whole jet, increases from to tail. Compared with initial liner material, decreases by about 30%. addition, effect laws thickness, cone angle, type explosive investigated. With increasing decreasing detonation pressure, proportion high-density area average increase.
